Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

• Associates degree in Surgical Technology; BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply aseptic technique to provide optimum patient care and maintain sterile standards.
• Assist in preparing the OR with supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Move and position patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Scrub on multiple procedures and support complex cases as needed.
• Maintain instrument counts and proper specimen handling as directed.
• Participate in training, education, and adherence to hospital policies and ethics.
