Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center is seeking a Senior Surgical Technologist for the night shift. The role involves scrubbing in and passing instruments in a fast-paced OR, with duties spanning pre- and post-operative tasks and training responsibilities.

The successful candidate will scrub in at least two surgical specialties, maintain sterile technique, and support OR turnover while ensuring patient safety and efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and current BLS.
• Certified surgical technologist OR two to three years of experience in a surgical technologist role.
• Must scrub proficiently on a minimum of two surgical specialties.
• Ability to work under pressure in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures and pulls instruments.
• Anticipates surgeon's needs and passes instruments.
• Maintains aseptic technique and disposes of sharps and waste.
• Assists with OR turnover and training of staff.
