Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Senior Surgical Tech for a full-time 0.9 FTE Day shift (12-hour days, schedule TBA). The role involves surgical scrub duties under RN supervision, instrument preparation, and intra-operative support to ensure smooth procedures.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed training as a surgical technician at an accredited school.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical scrub support and prepare sterile instrumentation.
• Review preference lists and arrange supplies/instruments for procedures.
• Assist intra-operatively by passing instruments and anticipating surgeon needs.
