Job summary

Boston Scientific in Minnesota is seeking a Surgical Lab Specialist to run the on-site surgical lab, coordinating activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance. You will support demonstrations, training sessions, and development activities for sales reps, physicians and R&D teams.

The role is onsite five days a week, with opportunities to work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Prior surgical lab or healthcare experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years with High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or certificate in surgical technology.
• Experience in a surgical lab, medical device company, or healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and logistics of lab activities and trainings.
• Maintain inventory of instruments, equipment and consumables.
• Enforce lab safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in setup, facilitation, and teardown of hands-on training sessions.
• Provide technical support during product demonstrations and simulations.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Education teams.
• Maintain records of lab usage, equipment logs and safety inspections.
