Job summary

Boston Scientific in Minneapolis is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform routine chemical and microbiological analyses in support of the quality program. You will log samples, support equipment maintenance, and document results following regulatory standards.

Candidates with a high school diploma and lab exposure are encouraged; associates degree and experience with microbiology or regulated labs are preferred. This is an on-site role in Arden Hills, MN.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log in test samples via laboratory information management software.
• Conducts general laboratory support functions such as reviewing inventory, ordering, and receiving supplies; support of continuous laboratory cleanliness; collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
• Performs a variety of technical support functions such as performing basic equipment preventive maintenance; preparing routine solutions and reagents; and assisting in general equipment/process troubleshooting activities.
• Makes and records observations; performs simple calculations; and prepares data for evaluation.
• Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
• Participates in lab continuous improvement activities to drive lean culture and improve the overall quality function of the lab.
• Assists in investigations related to testing, which may include ownership of NCEPs and CAPAs in eCAPA.
• Performs routine tests in accordance with established procedures and documents the results electronically or on standard forms.
