Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of technical engineering experience; Associate’s Degree required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain WA Construction Site Erosion & Sediment Control Certification within six months.
• Basic AutoCAD; GIS; MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect storm water facilities for permit compliance and provide technical guidance.
• Collect field data and assess conditions to propose corrections.
• Coordinate with city departments on code compliance and program development.
• Develop and present education programs on water resource protection.
• Issue warnings for noncompliance and support enforcement actions.
• Perform site inspections during construction to verify erosion controls.
