Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a SMWDC Surface Warfare Requirements & Experimentation Analyst to support our team in San Diego, CA. The role requires active security clearance and a US citizen.

The analyst will collaborate with N8/N9 on capability assessments across the SMWDC domain, aligning with fleet operations and planning processes. Required: 8+ years as a qualified Surface Warfare Officer, 5+ years in C2 issues, and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a qualified Surface Warfare Officer.
• At least 5 years of experience with Command-and-Control issues, regarding surveillance, engagement and planning functions required for each of the various numbered fleets.
• Experience as a WTI (AMW or ASW/SUW) qualified officer preferred. Aviation Officer qualification is acceptable.
• Experience with Staff and Fleet operations and procedures.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
