Job summary

Q.E.D. Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Instructor to support a Surface Ship Training contract at Naval Base Norfolk.

The role involves leading course development and delivering training to Surface Warfare personnel, ensuring consistency across training sites. The Lead Instructor will coordinate with the Contractor Program Manager (PM) and COR, report on contract performance and schedule, and provide process improvement recommendations to TYCOM staff. U.S.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
• Experience commanding a US surface ship (O-5/O-6).
• Two years of recent Fleet maintenance policies and initiatives experience.
• Two years of experience conducting technical briefs at the Senior Officer level.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor for Surface Ship Training contract delivery.
• Develop and ensure consistency of training across multiple sites.
• Interface with Program Manager (PM) on performance and schedule.
• Provide process improvement recommendations to TYCOM staff.
