Allianz Trade North America Surety Team is seeking an Executive Surety Underwriter to market and underwrite the assigned portfolio across multiple states. You will maintain and expand broker relationships while underwriting profitable business in the US, collaborating across the Americas to leverage capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years industry experience in surety underwriting.
• Knowledge of the US surety market in your local area.
• Entrepreneurial skill set to establish and achieve goals and objectives.
• Proven track record developing business with brokers.

Responsibilities

• Work with Regional Surety Manager to execute the strategic plan and grow Allianz Trade’s Surety business in the US.
• Develop and underwrite a profitable Surety portfolio through broker relationships and local market engagement.
• Document decisions and recommendations in a consistent, transparent manner.
• Conduct account and portfolio underwriting per guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
• Collaborate across the Americas and globally to leverage surety capabilities and customer base.
• Attend industry groups and local surety events as requested by the Regional Manager.
