Job summary

Standard Nursing Agency is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker for the Brent area. The role involves two days per week in the office for client visits, initial assessments, and care plan reviews, plus the rest of the week in the community delivering care to service users with complex needs in homes or community settings.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, with strong communication and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with PEG feeding, stoma care, and using hoists and moving/handling equipment.
• Medication management and epilepsy care experience.
• Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect; strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Write initial assessments and review care plans.
• Maintain excellent communication and precise written records.
• Assist with domestic tasks and personal care.
• Identify individual needs and provide appropriate support.
• Help service users maintain health and hygiene.
• Report incidents to Line Manager.
• Keep records per policy and procedures.
