Job summary

PE Global (UK) is recruiting enthusiastic Community Nurses to support NHS clients in Bristol. The role offers long-term contracts and Ad-Hoc shift work with competitive pay and mileage.

Responsibilities include coordinating care for patients with long-term conditions, administering medication, dressing wounds, catheter care, wound care for housebound individuals, continence support, cannulation/IV therapy, and end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience of working at relevant level within the community in the UK.
• Has a full UK driving license and access to an insured car daily.
• Able to work within a diverse community of patients and health care professionals.
• Effective communication skills written, verbal and non-verbal with the ability to adapt communication for individuals with communication difficulties
• Able to make clinically reasoned judgements when working with a variety of conditions.
• Able to work autonomously, and ability to know when to seek appropriate advice / guidance from senior staff.
• Effective time management and caseload management.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of clinical outcomes measures, clinical audit.
• Experience with EMIS, undertaking assessments, providing holistic care to elderly patients on DN caseload
• Management of long-term conditions and palliative care
• Aware of safeguarding adults
• Search for health needs and working with the core and wider MDT to meet patient needs
