Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead care teams and deliver person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities and autism in Weymouth. You will provide hands-on care, help with daily routines, and accompany clients on activities in the community.

The role requires senior experience, a driving licence, and strong IT/organisational skills. This is a rewarding, frontline leadership position in a supportive, expanding care group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior support or team leader role.
• Confident in supporting people with complex needs.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable/working towards).
• Strong organisation and IT skills.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support, including personal care and community activities.
• Support and guide team members across multiple locations.
• Review care plans, risk assessments, and records.
• Liaise with families and professionals.
• Step in to lead shifts and ensure high-quality, consistent support.

The people youll support:

Youll support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. Each person is unique, and youll help ensure their care is person-centred, consistent, and tailored to their lifestyle, whether thats providing personal care, helping with daily routines or enjoying days out or quieter time at home.

We're looking for:
