Job summary

ISI Enterprises is seeking a Support Engineer III to lead complex troubleshooting, drive automation, and mentor Tier 1–2 engineers across hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCC High). The role collaborates with Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Program Management to ensure security-aligned infrastructure, 99.99% uptime, and compliant deployments, while communicating clearly with clients and guiding technical decisions.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required; eligible for U.S. Government security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience in IT engineering in MSP/MSSP environments.
Strong expertise in Microsoft 0365 GCC/GCC High incl Entra, Exchange, Intune, Purview, Sharepoint, Teams.
Azure Entra, infrastructure, networking, migration, storage (AWS a plus).
Proficiency with Active Directory and hybrid environments (GPO, NPS).
Ability to support Mac, iPhone and related tools.
Azure AI, Copilot, and other AI product support a strong plus.
Advanced networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, SASE).
Windows/Linux infrastructure, and virtualization technologies.
Automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
Monitoring and high-availability design experience.
MSP/MSSP tool stack management (RMM, PSA, SIEM, EDR, Email Security, Backup).
Collaborate with security teams to meet NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP standards.
Strong problem-solving and technical leadership with mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Tier 3 Support.
Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for engineering-related issues.
Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive problem resolution.
Ensure clear, client-friendly communication of technical solutions.
Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering: design and optimize hybrid cloud environments with automation.
Develop automation strategies (PowerShell, Python) to streamline provisioning and management.
Maintain 99.99% uptime and high availability through proactive monitoring and DR planning.
Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, and FedRAMP with Security teams.
