Job summary

SC Johnson in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supply Planning to partner with external manufacturers and drive on-time, in-full delivery of finished goods. You will champion safety, quality, and efficiency while optimizing inventory, case-fill, and process performance across the supply chain.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in supply chain (or advanced degree with 1+ year) and familiarity with SAP/MRP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of supply-chain experience, including internships.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience with MRP/DRP and PC-based tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an efficient MPS/DRP/MRP process for assigned External Manufacturers within respective region.
• Drive results through adherence to core supply planning processes and policies.
• Optimize inventory and case-fill performance across the end-to-end supply chain.
• Drive decisions and trade-offs that optimize the supply plan, and communicate those decisions to stakeholders.
• Develop constrained and feasible production, distribution, and material requirements plans over the aligned time horizon, via SAP & best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to balance production, inventory, and capacity.
• Master data ownership & compliance.
• Escalate supply/inventory risk to the Supply Interface Manager & identify options to drive resolution.
• Measure, analyze & communicate key process metrics.
• Monthly inputs/capacity planning in support of Step 3 process.
• Monthly root cause analysis of KPI's for their category/cluster - and identify/drive corrective actions.
