Job summary

2nd Adventure in Grinnell, IA is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to own supplier planning, develop replenishment plans, and balance product availability with inventory and risk. You’ll partner with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Marketing, Logistics and Warehouse teams.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, BOM coordination for house brands, and proactive problem solving in a hybrid onsite role. Base salary starts in the 60Ks with bonus potential up to 12% and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in supply planning, replenishment, purchasing, inventory management, or related role.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or similar planning systems.
• Ability to assess supplier constraints, supply risks, and make sound planning decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own supply and replenishment planning for assigned suppliers and product lines.
• Manage purchase order activity and ensure timely product availability.
• Anticipate and resolve supply challenges, delays, and lead-time changes.
• Analyze inventory performance and improve in-stock levels and turns.
• Evaluate and optimize planning parameters like lead times and safety stock.
• Partner with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Marketing, Logistics and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as fill rates and supplier delivery performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in replenishment processes and data accuracy.
• Coordinate House Brands kitting/assembly, including BOM maintenance and sourcing.
