Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist in Midland, MI to manage time-phased supply schedules and optimize inventory and customer service across production sites. The role requires analysing and network-wide coordination with internal teams to balance supply and demand.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or military equivalent, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong skills in SAP/OPM, collaboration, problem solving, and strategic thinking. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP or OMP OPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short-term, while considering plant wide constraints and meeting inventory and customer service targets.
• Determine and/or execute the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implement external manufacturing agreements or execute agreements already in place.
• Own and operate site or regional planning models (provide functional expertise for model operation).
• Coordinate integration of internal demand, utilities or environmental operations at a particular location.
• Routinely check and track inventory quantity and ensure volumes meet the plan.
• Lead collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics and partners to meet business obligations in case of unplanned events.
• Ensure proper maintenance of production parameters to ensure effective planning.
• Support global supply chain initiatives by interfacing with other supply chain personnel.
