Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing lead to drive program procurement and supplier risk management in Fort Worth. You will act as a liaison across functions to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and supply chain optimization for aerospace projects.

The role emphasizes a strong purchasing background, heavy coordination with engineering, SPG/SPC/SPT, and the global commodity strategy, with preferred Six Sigma or PMP background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering is required.
• 8 years of experience in Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in a customer facing role.
• Knowledge of aircraft seats is preferred.
• 2 years of SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Management Supply Chain:Purchasing representative for all OEBs incl. lead times and risks.
• Planning of all purchasing activities, critical parts, milestones, lead times for projects.
• Reporting of current projects status and corrective actions to meet SP targets.
• KPI status overview and escalation within team (SFB SPS, SP, PSC + PDP).
• Assurance of raw material availability with involved departments.
• Implementation of commodity purchasing strategy across PSC/PDP.
