Job summary

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with a planning background to lead long-term network planning for AMXL's middle mile, shaping the sort center topology, linehaul connectivity, and carrier mix strategy.

You will own modeling inputs, collaborate with science, finance, and operations, and present recommendations to senior leadership for multi-year planning. This role drives efficiency, cost reduction, and customer experience improvements across the network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain management experience.
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term network plan for AMXL's middle mile network, including the multi-year sort center topology, linehaul connectivity and carrier mix strategy, and capacity plan.
• Own the inputs, outputs, and assumptions of the network optimization models used to build those plans, working with the science teams who develop them.
• Author the full year plans and planning documents for your segment through Amazon's annual and three-year planning cycles, and present recommendations to Director and VP leadership.
• Lead cross-organizational workstreams on network strategy, such as externalization and hard regionalization, with Operations, Finance, Transportation, and Retail partners.
• Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency in the network.
• Define metrics, develop mechanisms, and invent and simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network situations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network goals.
