Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager for AMXL Sort Center planning in North America. Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single-threaded leader for the North America AMXL Sort Center full-year plan, owning inbound, processed, and outbound volume weekly.
• Plan volume across handling types and upstream sources, recognizing each combination has its own throughput rate.
• Own the AMXL Sort Center metric set: site and regional volume distributions, inbound/outbound volume, throughput, and trailer fill density.
• Set consolidation and outbound flow strategy to keep trailers dense and tie to outbound transport options.
• Provide backup support across the broader middle-mile plan, including linehaul and carrier planning.
• Drive alignment to lock quarterly commitments and hand off to finance, transportation, and planning teams.
• Invent and simplify planning mechanisms and automation across horizons; communicate strategy and risks to senior leadership.
