Job summary

BAE Systems in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Supply Chain Planner (SCP) to coordinate material requirements with the master production schedule. You will help report KPIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and escalate issues affecting the value chain.

Required: Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of planning experience, ERP experience (Oracle/SAP), and ability to obtain a Secret clearance. On-site in Huntsville with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
• Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations.
• Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes.
• Sales & Operations Experience/knowledge.
• Inventory/Stockroom management.
• Project Management Experience.
• Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team.
• Ability to analyze and react to exceptions in MRP, esp. BOM, Material Planning, POs and ECOs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements with the production schedule.
• Support risk management activities impacting the value chain with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure shipments meet contract/internal delivery commitments.
• Utilize system/tools to achieve program goals.
