Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist for our Iuka, Mississippi location. The role defines and develops material strategy, analyzes supply/demand, and plans inventory, BOMs, and capacity to support product line needs.

Level 3 requires a degree and 5 years (or 3 years with a master's; 1 year with a PhD), with active Secret clearance and ERP/MRP experience. Level 4 requires 8 years (or 6 with a master's; 4 with a PhD)."

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5 years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; or a master's degree with 3 years, or a PhD with 1 year, or a high school diploma with 9 years in lieu of degree.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Planning/scheduling experience; Production control experience; ERP/MRP experience.

Responsibilities

• Defines and develops material strategy and assesses supply resources.
• Analyzes and aggregates supply/demand requirements using MRP tools.
• Plans inventory levels based on BOM requirements and coordinates capacity planning.
• Creates/releases requisitions and analyzes lead times for critical procurements.
• Interfaces with Source and other areas to manage inventory and working capital.
