Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Iuka, Mississippi is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to design and manage material strategy, demand aggregation, and inventory planning for our programs.

This role involves MRP/ERP analysis, capacity planning, and collaboration with production teams to ensure on-time delivery. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with several years of supply chain experience, active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5 years of supply chain, material planning, or related experience; or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience; or PhD with 1 year of experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with background investigation within the past 6 years or CE.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Defines and develops material strategy and plans inventory, distribution, production, and capacity.
• Analyzes supply/demand, lead times, and critical path procurements using MRP tools.
• Participates in long-term capacity planning and product phase-in/phase-out.
• Creates/releases requisitions and manages non-standard part requirements.
• Interfaces with Source process areas regarding inventory and working capital.
