Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 4) or (Level 5) for the Aeronautics Systems Global Supply Chain team. Positions are located in El Segundo, CA; Palmdale, CA; or San Diego, CA.

The role defines and executes material strategy, forecasts demand, and supports production readiness. A Secret clearance is required or obtainable; MS Office skills and SAP/MES experience are preferred; salaries range with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or a related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain) within a reasonable period.

Responsibilities

• Defines and develops material strategy.
• Assesses supply chain resources and prioritizes demand requirements.
• Develops material forecasting and delivery schedules.
• Participates in make/buy, capacity and resource planning, phase-ins/outs.
• Leads cost-saving and process-improvement initiatives.
• Analyzes material supply/demand using MRP tools and monitors BOM-based inventories.
• Interacts with cross-functional teams including supplier quality, engineering, and production.
