Job summary

The QTI Group partners with a manufacturing client in the Greater Madison area to hire a contract Senior Supply Chain Manager. This one-year contract requires hybrid work with on-site presence 3 days per week, and candidates living within driving distance of Madison are preferred.

Responsibilities include owning end-to-end planning, leading cross-functional planning, and optimizing ERP-driven processes. Experience with IFS or similar ERP is highly valued, with a focus on SIOP and capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain, business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
• Ability to present Supply Chain data and analyses to senior leaders.
• Proficiency in IFS or a similar ERP system.
• Manufacturing experience, biotech manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain planning for manufacturing operations; translate demand into production, purchasing, inventory, and replenishment plans.
• Lead cross-functional planning with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and supplier teams to resolve constraints and availability issues.
• Manage ERP-driven planning: BOM maintenance, part number setup, MRPs, inventory controls, planning parameter accuracy.
• Drive SIOP and capacity planning by evaluating demand, inventory, labor, equipment, and material constraints; develop scenarios and recommendations.

The QTI Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Greater Madison area as they look to hire a contract Senior Supply Chain Manager. This is a one-year contract position with hybrid work capabilities, this role is ideal for an experienced supply chain professional who can hit the ground running, work independently, and make an immediate impact with minimal training or ramp-up time.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain planning for manufacturing operations, translating demand requirements into executable production, purchasing, inventory, and replenishment plans while ensuring product availability and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional planning activities by partnering with manufacturing, quality, laboratory, procurement, and supplier teams to proactively resolve supply constraints, capacity challenges, and material availability issues.
• Manage and optimize ERP-driven planning processes, including BOM maintenance, part number setup, MRP analysis, inventory controls, and planning parameter accuracy to support reliable execution and decision-making. Experience with IFS or similar ERP platforms is highly valued.
• Drive SIOP and capacity planning efforts by evaluating demand, inventory, labor, equipment, and material constraints, developing scenarios, and providing actionable recommendations that balance service levels, inventory investment, and operational performance.
