Job summary

UVA Health seeks a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to act as the embedded supply chain resource for an assigned department, managing inventory, purchasing, receiving, backorders, and substitutions to support patient care.

You will collaborate with department leaders, Supply Chain, and Value Management to prevent disruptions and drive cost-effective, reliable supply operations across the unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated supply chain resource for an assigned department.
• Maintain inventory PAR levels and reorder points.
• Identify supply risks and develop solutions with stakeholders.
• Partner with department leaders and vendors to optimize supply continuity.
