Job summary

Balanced Body is hiring an experienced 3PL Operations Specialist to oversee warehouse logistics, inventory control, and distribution for domestic and international markets. You will plan, monitor, and optimize 3PL partnerships to ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics management with 3PL experience, a manufacturing fulfillment background, and international shipping proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management with 3PL for warehouse fulfillment.
• Experience stocking fulfillment from a manufacturing environment.
• International container shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage global logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations for domestic and international markets.
• Develop and monitor 3PL KPIs related to cost, productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Implement best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize costs and overtime.
• Analyze logistics data to optimize processes, improve productivity, and reduce losses.
• Monitor receipt, storage, and distribution of goods with min/max inventory levels.
• Process product order replenishment with the 3PL and coordinate with Logistics and International Shipping teams.
• Maintain quality control, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all warehouse activities.
• Assess vendor performance and align purchasing strategies with business goals.

Balanced Body is hiring! We are seeking an experienced 3PL Operations Specialist to oversee our warehouse 3PL logistics operations. This position is responsible for strategically planning global warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at cross-functional collaboration while optimizing inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution efficiency. What you'll do

Strategic & Operational Management

• Strategically plan and manage global logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations for both domestic and international markets.
• Develop and monitor 3PL KPIs related to cost, productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Implement best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize costs and overtime
• Analyze logistics data to optimize processes, improve productivity, and reduce losses.

Warehouse 3PL Operations & Procurement

• Monitor receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, including min/max inventory levels.
• Process product order replenishment with the 3PL, including creating delivery orders and ordering cargo containers, in coordination with the Logistics and International Shipping teams.
• Maintain quality control, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all warehouse activities.
• Assess vendor performance based on quality and delivery to ensure optimal sourcing.
• Work with internal stakeholders and align purchasing strategies with overall business goals.

Logistics & Transportation

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, scheduling shipments and managing transportation providers.
• Monitor stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
• Negotiate with carriers and manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management while working with 3PL for warehouse fulfillment services.
• Experience stocking fulfillment from a manufacturing environment.
• International container shipping experience required.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., MS Business Central).
• Understanding of program integrations (i.e., Shopify to WMS).

Soft Skills

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with effective organization and prioritization skills.

This is an onsite position in Sacramento, CA. Monday to Friday; schedule may vary.
