Job summary

Balanced Body, the world’s leading Pilates equipment designer and manufacturer, seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Sacramento, CA. You will lead a five-person purchasing team, optimize procurement, and partner with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals.

You will build core purchasing processes, establish supplier performance metrics, and report to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
• APICS/CSCP/CPSM certifications preferred.
• 10+ years in supply chain with 5+ years managerial experience in manufacturing.
• On-site in Sacramento, CA; no hybrid/remote.
• Develop and implement standard work for major processes and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a purchasing team of five buyer-planners and material handlers.
• Drive supply chain strategies for cost reduction, supplier delivery performance, and lead-time reduction.
• Implement lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S).
• Manage alternate replenishment methods (consignment, kanban, vendor managed).
• Coordinate cross-functional procurement with internal teams and leadership.
