The right person will combine deep supply chain expertise with strong financial acumen, advanced analytics, AI, and automation to build an operation capable of supporting significant growth without proportional increases in headcount or complexity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own demand forecasting and inventory planning across DTC, Amazon, B2B/wholesale, and international channels.
- Incorporate sales velocity, seasonality, promotions, launches, marketing plans, and supplier lead times into purchasing decisions.
- Optimize safety stock, reorder points, inventory turns, and working capital while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Build scenario models for promotions, launches, pre-orders, and demand changes.
Supplier, Procurement & Production //
- Manage global supplier relationships, purchase orders, production schedules, MOQs, capacity, costs, and lead times.
- Build supplier scorecards and measurable performance standards.
- Proactively identify production constraints, supply risks, and opportunities for cost or lead-time improvement.
- Partner with Product and Quality on new product launches and production readiness.
International Freight & Customs //
- Own inbound logistics from global suppliers through Mito’s domestic warehouses and 3PLs.
- Manage freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for speed, reliability, and cost.
- Oversee HS classifications, duties, tariffs, documentation, and import compliance.
- Optimize freight methods, routing, shipment consolidation, and container utilization.
3PL, Warehousing & Fulfillment //
- Own operational relationships and performance with Mito’s 3PL and warehouse partners.
- Establish and manage KPIs for receiving, inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed, order accuracy, and cost.
- Ensure inventory is positioned appropriately across channels and fulfillment locations.
- Plan capacity and inventory around promotions, launches, and peak periods.
AI, Automation & Systems //
- Build an AI-enabled supply chain that improves forecasting, visibility, decision-making, and execution.
- Use AI and automation across forecasting, purchasing, supplier management, logistics, reporting, and exception management.
- Develop workflows that proactively identify stockout risks, forecast deviations, supplier delays, excess inventory, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Continuously identify repetitive operational work that can be automated or eliminated rather than solved through additional headcount.
- Improve integrations and data flows across ERP, Shopify, Amazon, 3PLs, BI platforms, and forecasting systems.
- Evaluate and deploy emerging AI and automation capabilities that materially improve speed, accuracy, efficiency, or scalability.
- Build clear dashboards for inventory health, purchasing, inbound shipments, supplier performance, and supply chain economics.
- Track forecast accuracy, inventory turns, weeks of supply, stockouts, excess inventory, lead times, freight costs, fulfillment costs, and other core KPIs.
- Own landed-cost visibility across product cost, freight, tariffs, duties, and related expenses.
- Partner with Finance on COGS, inventory valuation, purchasing plans, cash requirements, and working capital.
Cross-Functional Planning //
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, CS, and leadership on launches, promotions, pre-orders, and inventory requirements.
- Maintain accurate company-wide visibility into product availability and inventory ETAs.
- Identify risks early and drive solutions before they impact revenue or customers.
- Build scalable processes, documentation, contingency plans, and operating rhythms that reduce organizational dependency on individual people.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of progressive supply chain, inventory planning, logistics, or operations experience, preferably in eCommerce, DTC, consumer electronics, or consumer products.
- Proven experience managing international suppliers, freight, customs, inventory planning, and 3PL relationships.

- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience with ERP, inventory planning, BI, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and related platforms.
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Highly detail-oriented while capable of thinking strategically about the broader business.
