Job summary

CDI seeks a Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to lead logistics, raw materials, finished goods, and procurement. You will organize shipments, negotiate with carriers, manage vendors, and optimize procedures to ensure on-time delivery.

The role also handles inventory, purchase orders, and meticulous record-keeping, reporting to the plant leadership team. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in logistics, procurement, vendor management, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience in logistics, procurement, vendor management, shipment consolidation and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments from origin to final destination and complete shipping documentation.
• Negotiate rates with freight carriers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, suppliers and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage inventory min/max levels and procurement processes.
• Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records and reports.
• Support plant leadership team with logistics improvements and compliance.
