Job summary

ZF Group in Gray Court, SC is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to manage logistics project activities and act as team lead on launch projects. The role coordinates cross-functional teams to support pre-series parts supply and delivery to customers.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of progressive experience and strong skills in MS Office, problem solving, and communication. A collaborative team environment and incentive plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years progressive experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdepartmental activities with management to define the project class and scope of project and resources needed.
• Manage, review, and ensure maintenance of New Parts List or comparable project task list by product for all relevant topics.
• Act as Team Lead, working with ZF teams (launch management, logistics, purchasing, quality and sales) and global SCM, to support business development, capacity, and continuity.
• Ensure material availability to support the production schedule, independent orders for pre-series, bank builds, etc. by reviewing stock levels, vendor performance and production schedule to avoid potential shortfalls and report status reviews for all build phases.
• Lead projects and processes to continuously improve the material and information flow.
