Job summary

IPS Corporation is seeking a Director of Supply Chain in Collierville, TN to lead production planning, purchasing, and forecasting for Water‑Tite division. You will drive inventory control, supplier performance, and cost‑reduction initiatives while aligning with cross‑functional teams to meet customer requirements and on‑time shipments.

The role emphasizes data‑driven decision making, process improvement, and leadership of a supply‑chain team in a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• 10+ years in a manufacturing supply-chain role.
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with operating budgets and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand or create supply plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor forecasts and quotas for changes impacting supply-chain activities.
• Define performance metrics for cost, quality, and service.
• Analyze inventories to improve turns and reduce waste.
• Develop procedures coordinating supply-chain with sales, production, and quality.
• Meet with suppliers to discuss performance and forecasts.
• Implement new or improved supply-chain processes.
• Design supply-chains aligned with business strategy and market conditions.
• Manage purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, and receiving.
• Evaluate supplier performance and capability through on-site visits.
