Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks an Assistant Deputy Chief of Supply Chain Analytics to set strategy and lead the build, monitoring, and analysis of supply chain metrics and spend intelligence. You will create centralized tools and dashboards for stakeholders and manage the procurement system within PeopleSoft with an emphasis on security and compliance.

The role requires strong communication, ability to influence leadership, and hands-on experience in procurement and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating visualizations that enable rapid interpretation of complex problems, preferably in supply chain.
• Must have knowledge of Procurement / Supplier Management; ERP / Business and Supply Chain Systems.
• Must have knowledge of visualization tools, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
• Must have hands-on experience with database and reporting technologies.
• Must have the ability to comprehend high-level business strategy objectives and effectively develop roadmaps, milestones, detailed implementation plans and KPI's.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Supply Chain automation and management, i.e., transaction reductions through automation opportunities.
• Improve procurement record retention and retrieval and push process improvement.
• With IT, develop strategies to improve cybersecurity.
• Deliver Supply Chain reporting, dashboard implementation, and management for Senior Leadership and Executives.
