Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC seeks a Supplier Quality Manager to lead supplier quality strategy, development, and audits across the Wire & Cable portfolio. You will drive ISO 9001 compliance and structured problem solving to enhance supplier performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 8–11 years in quality/vendor management, an engineering background, ISO9001 auditing credentials, and collaboration with Strategic Sourcing. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Specialized degree: Engineering or related field.
• Licenses/Certificates: ISO9001 certified auditor or equivalent.
• Certifications such as ASQ CSQP, CQE, CQM, Six Sigma are a plus.
• Years of Experience: 8-11 years.
• Field of Expertise: Quality or Vendor Management in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality strategy and development across the Wire & Cable product line.
• Oversee supplier audits and qualification, post-CAR/SCAR resolution.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and alignment to corporate policies.
• Drive CAPA, 8D and root cause analysis to reduce quality costs.
• Standardize supplier management activities across product lines.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to evaluate supplier performance and risk.
• Incorporate supplier quality metrics into the centralized scorecard.
• Participate in supplier business reviews and provide improvement recommendations.
