Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. is seeking a Supplier Quality Leader to manage a team of SQEs and drive supplier quality improvements. The role collaborates with Supply Chain, conducts supplier visits, and manages SCARs, RTG plans, and RCA actions.

Ideal candidates will have aerospace/defense SQ knowledge, strong leadership, and experience in training staff. This onsite position in Inglewood offers a competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years supplier quality management or equivalent in supply chain.
• Minimum 3 years in aerospace/defense supplier quality.
• Minimum 8 years supervisory or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, own processes and drive RCCA.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Supplier Quality Engineers and staff.
• Improve supplier quality via collaboration with Supply Chain and supplier visits.
• Oversee SCARs, supplier notifications, RTG plans monitoring.
• Provide data-driven guidance from analytics for supplier actions.
• Mitigate supplier risk with cross-functional teams.
• Support GIDEP alerts for purchased products.
• Deploy monthly supplier quality scorecards and manage non-conformances.
• Coach and develop SQEs through mentoring and reviews.
