Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering in Alpharetta, GA. You will lead a team of supplier quality engineers and inspectors, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure high-quality deliveries of procured products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; Graduate Degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• US citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track with supply base for containment, root cause, and corrective/preventive actions on non-conformances and customer returns.
• Lead a team of supplier quality engineers and inspectors and interface with customers and program personnel.
• Review and communicate quality flow-down requirements to the supply base.
• Ensure First Article Inspections are per AS9102 before approval and train supply base as needed.
• Support Engineering in defining key/critical product and process characteristics.
• Review bids/proposals to support supplier quality needs.
• Audit onboarding of new suppliers or conduct surveillance audits for critical suppliers.
• Analyze supplier performance and develop improvement plans to reduce COPQ and nonconformances.
• Willingness to travel (~25%).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
