Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified engineer to oversee New Model project activity and manage supplier part and process maturation to meet production timing. The role provides technical engineering support to ensure mass production quality and involves collaboration with suppliers on quality and tooling concerns.

The position emphasizes risk assessment, process validation, and mentoring junior staff within the group, with a hybrid work arrangement and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant engineering experience.
• 2 years' experience depending upon education.
• Experience with GD&T, injection molding, CATIA, and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NM project activity and manage supplier part & process maturation to meet New Model project timing.
• Provide technical engineering expertise to ensure parts and processes meet mass production quality requirements.
• Approve supplier process including FMEA, PQCT, and MQS.
• Coordinate with supplier on quality and tooling concerns and validate conformance through testing.
• Mentor new associates within the group on problem solving and procedures.
