EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) seeks a seasoned Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to support the launch of a new lithium‑ion cell facility. You will establish and maintain supplier quality processes, emphasizing defect prevention, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on high‑volume manufacturing and regulatory compliance. The position involves collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to set qualifications, process validations, and performance

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; 13+ years in supplier quality engineering in high‑volume automated manufacturing.
• Experience launching new manufacturing lines and developing manufacturing quality controls/documentation.
• Proficiency with ERP, PLM, MES systems (SAP, Oracle, PTC Windchill) and MS Office.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher and ASQ/CQE certification are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead supplier quality activities during factory build‑out and transition into production, establishing baseline metrics and controls.
• Vet materials, components, or equipment suppliers; collaborate on IQ/OQ/PQ development, data evaluation, and risk reviews.
• Develop and execute APQP deliverables: PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, MSA, and PPAP documentation.
• Build supplier quality capability for EnerSys PPS across lines of business and conduct supplier audits to ensure ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 compliance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain on new product introductions and deployments.
