Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to support the launch of a new lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility. The role focuses on establishing supplier quality processes, defect prevention, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, Manufacturing, Industrial or related field).
• 13+ years of supplier quality engineering experience in high-volume automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality activities during factory build-out and transition to production, establishing baseline metrics and process controls.
• Lead vetting of material, component, or equipment suppliers and qualification/validation activities with IQ/OQ/PQ development and data evaluation.
• Develop and execute APQP processes and deliverables including PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, MSA and PPAP documentation.
• Coordinate supplier quality activities with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D and Supply Chain for new product introductions.
• Collaborate to implement and mature supplier quality processes, controls, and documentation for lithium-ion cell production.
