Job summary
Integra in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality activities and ensure purchased materials meet quality, technical, and performance standards. You will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Quality, and internal Quality teams to strengthen supplier capability, prevent defects, and drive measurable improvements.
The role requires 7+ years in supplier quality or related fields with audits, corrective actions, and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
- 7+ years in supplier quality or related roles with audits and improvement.
- Knowledge of supplier audits, APQP/PPAP, and risk management.
- Experience with metal fabrication, welding, electrical assemblies preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier assessments, audits, and qualification activities.
- Monitor supplier performance data and drive improvement plans.
- Lead containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action for nonconformances.
- Communicate requirements and support DFx and supplier readiness.
- Review first article inspections and related documentation.
