Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Transition Quality Engineer (P5) to lead quality activities within the Global Transitions team in a US location. You will partner with suppliers and PW peers to ensure affordable, high-quality parts meet customer needs, from contract review through production readiness.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, RCCA, and robust quality signatures, with travel up to 40% to domestic and international sites. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Deep understanding of PW Quality Systems, ESA, MCL and manufacturing processes.
• Proven supplier relationship and quality improvement experience.
• Knowledge of PW products and services; proficient in MS Office, SAP, Qlik, CORE tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality for Global Transitions hardware from contract review to FAI/PPAP approvals.
• Identify and mitigate quality risk using AS9145 tools (PFMEA, PFD, PCP, MSA, KPC).
• Pursue PPAP training to become Member Focal Point (MFP).
• Mitigate risk of quality escapes through robust contract review verification and process controls.
