Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines, seeks a Transition Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality across Global Transitions. You will manage contract review, PPAP readiness, and production readiness while collaborating with PW teams to prevent nonconformances and ensure timely project milestones.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, AS9145/PPAP proficiency, and a strong supplier interface across domestic and international partners, including travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in quality or supplier quality.
• Strong knowledge of PW quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to develop supplier relationships and improve quality signatures.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality for Global Transitions hardware from contract review to FAI approval.
• Mitigate quality risks using AS9145 tools (PFMEA, PFD, PCP, MSA).
• Aim to certify as MFP and ensure production readiness.
• Support contract review, flowdown, and sub-tier management.
• Drive RCCA with suppliers and lead ZERO/CRV quality events.
• Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
