Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Beverly, MA, seeks a Senior Technical Staff Engineer-Supplier Quality to lead a multi-site SQE team and ensure supplier quality meets Microchip standards across factories worldwide.

You will drive corrective actions, perform audits, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex quality issues, while advancing supplier development and quality performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science (Physics/Chemistry/Statistics/Material) or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical)
• 10+ years of experience in QA managing suppliers/subcontractors/people
• Experience auditing suppliers and following up on corrective actions
• Drive supplier improvement programs and CAPA
• Coordinate with Internal factories, Quality Engineering and Purchasing to address failures

Responsibilities

• Drive quality of raw materials/components from suppliers worldwide
• Lead root cause analyses and containment actions
• Coordinate with QA personnel across sites and suppliers
• Ensure quality issues meet Microchip's standards and drive actions to prevent recurrence
