Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain. You will ensure materials and components meet quality standards and foster strong supplier relationships.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in supplier quality in aerospace or propulsion, with AS9100/Nadcap experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and problem solving.
• Experience with FMEA and SPC methodologies in aerospace.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with AS9100, Nadcap, and AS9102 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier quality standards and processes for aerospace propulsion systems.
• Audit and approve suppliers through on-site assessments for compliance.
• Establish quality agreements with suppliers including KPIs.
• Monitor supplier performance using defect rates, on-time delivery, and specs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for supplier issues.
• Drive preventive measures and continuous improvement with suppliers.
• Oversee qualification of propulsion components and external service providers.
• Support NPI by ensuring supplier readiness and FAI validation.
• Collaborate with engineering to align supplier capabilities with design needs.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards like AS9100/Nadcap/AS9102.
• Document supplier audits, quality reports, and corrective actions.
• Support audits and inspections by customers/regulators.
• Work with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers to improve processes.
