Job summary

Parker Hannifin in North Hollywood, CA, is seeking a Division Supply Chain Quality Engineer to improve supplier quality and ensure contract compliance across the aerospace division. The role collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver quality parts on time and at a fair price.

The position requires 5–7 years in supplier quality with AS9100 knowledge, auditable processes, and strong problem-solving skills. Up to 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a technical field.
• 5–7 years in supplier quality, QA, aerospace preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, APQP/PPAP.
• Ability to read drawings, GD&T, and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Improve supplier quality via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead on-site Zero Defect initiatives with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier prequalification and qualifications.
• Support new product development with cross-functional teams.
• Define product/process parameters with Parker teams.
• Manage source inspections and PPAP processes.
• Oversee QMS audits and supplier quality records.
• Travel up to 50% domestically/internationally.
