Job summary

LDI Search LTD. is assisting a global leader in security equipment to recruit a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer who will own supplier performance and drive world-class quality across a high-tech product range.

You will lead supplier development, audits, and CAPA, partner with Engineering on complex issues, and support NPI, design reviews, and configuration control. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years in Supplier Quality/Quality Engineering or engineering within complex mechanical or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Strong background in sourcing multiple materials and components.
• Expert in GD&T, measurement methods, and data analysis.
• Understanding of ISO9001 and preferably ISO14001.
• Skilled in SolidWorks, statistical tools, and leading improvement projects.
• Understanding of Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP).
• Past Auditor experience; certification preferred.
• Passport and driver’s license; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Leads supplier development to boost quality, capability, and delivery.
• Runs supplier audits and close actions fast.
• Qualify new parts, processes, tooling, and secondary operations.
• Tackle nonconformances with solid root-cause and corrective action (8D, 5 Whys, CAPA).
• Partner with Engineering on complex technical issues.
• Support NPI, design reviews, engineering changes, and configuration control.
• Own supplier quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement and cost-down activity.
• Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and escalate issues when needed.
