Job Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

Join an industry leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. This role is integral to the residential HVAC manufacturing business, working within the global quality team to ensure product and process quality alongside quality engineers, operations leaders, and quality control staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality improvement.
• Investigate and resolve process-related concerns using data and statistical methods.
• Support new product development and manage supplier performance, including audits and corrective actions.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) while enhancing processes using Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping.
• Develop training materials to promote quality awareness and interface with engineering and operations for quality compliance.
• Analyze failures and determine corrective/preventive actions, effectively responding to customer complaints.
• Maintain quality manuals, procedures, and prepare quality assurance reports.
• Plan, organize, and manage inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to improve inspection processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Experience with Supplier PPAP, Project Management, and Supplier Auditing.
• Six Sigma Certification.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and inspection.

• Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration/Management.
• Background in IT, beneficial for digitalizing processes.
  
  

Work Environment

The role is onsite with 1st Shift from Monday through Thursday, working 10-12 hour days. The typical work week averages 45 to 50 hours, with occasional pre-scheduled Fridays for rework. Hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, with shifts based on seniority. The environment is dynamic, requiring a commitment to work weekends as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
