Job summary

Diasorin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to support instrument, cassette and reagent manufacturing and collaborate with Sourcing to maintain a supplier quality improvement program. The role interfaces with Engineering, Sourcing and QA for supplier performance, material specifications, test methods, and validation processes across multiple product lines.

The candidate will lead audits, evaluate supplier production control, drive corrective actions, and contribute to department quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field required.
• 7+ years related experience and/or training; in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of quality, supplier quality, or manufacturing experience in a relevant industry; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and measure supplier performance via production line stats, field data, inspections, and audits.
• Establish and report supplier quality metrics.
• Apply quality engineering methods to improve supplier performance.
• Participate in supplier selection and qualification for new products and sourcing.
• Lead or participate in supplier audits and audit reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement with suppliers.
