Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Supplier Engineer/Development/Quality professional to ensure supplier compliance with ISI requirements, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with R&D, QA, and Contract teams. You will evaluate suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery, lead corrective actions, and influence design for manufacturability.

The role includes managing transfers, optimizing supplier networks, and delivering data-driven supplier health information to management.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years related experience in Supplier Engineering/Development/Quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Lean/6 Sigma/SPC programs experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Select, evaluate, and qualify suppliers.
• Lead supplier quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance to QMS and regulatory requirements by auditing suppliers.
• Lead transfers of product supply and manage supplier contracts.
• Develop metrics for supplier cost, delivery, quality, capacity, capability.
• Drive corrective actions and root-cause analysis with suppliers.
• Influence engineering in supplier selection and ECO processes.
• Deliver supplier communications and scorecards.
