Qualifications

• Understanding of effective communication concepts and ability to transmit and interpret ideas and information.
• Knowledge of approaches and tools for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational problems.
• Ability to evaluate current production methods and drive continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards and policies and ability to ensure compliance.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and evaluating supplier performance.
• Experience in conducting supplier evaluations and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Test and assess incoming supplies to identify quality issues and develop inspection and testing mechanisms.
• Monitor supplier defect rates and generate quality reports; guide suppliers to reduce defects.
• Audit suppliers' manufacturing environments, practices, and procedures for compliance with policies and standards.
• Support suppliers with process improvements and establish quality assurance plans.
