Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, seeks a Supplier Quality Manager to oversee supplier performance, material compliance, and process validation for complex naval projects. You will translate engineering requirements into supplier actions and monitor quality systems at supplier facilities.

The role requires extensive experience in quality assurance within marine or shipyard environments, strong leadership and cross-functional communication, and the ability to audit and improve supplier

Competenze

• High School diploma or higher with substantial experience in supplier quality assurance.
• Associates/Bachelor's/Master's degrees with progressively more experience.
• Proven experience in shipyard/marine environments preferred.
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Mansioni

• Plan, organize, direct and report on supplier quality activities to assure contract/purchase order requirements.
• Translate engineering, manufacturing and quality requirements to suppliers.
• Review corrective action reports and purchase orders to reduce defects.
• Audit supplier facilities and oversee non-conformances and deviation investigations.
